- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 4 large cloves garlic
- 3 c. packed basil leaves
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1 1/4 c. finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 lb. pasta (fettucine)
Directions

1Blend 1/4 cup

2oil and garlic in blender.

3Slowly add basil and additional 1/4 cup oil until it becomes a fine green paste.

4In saucepan, add cream, basil paste, 3/4 cup cheese, salt and pepper.

5Heat just until hot.

6Cook and drain pasta.

7Toss with sauce and garnish with remaining Parmesan cheese.
