- 1 lb. fresh bass chunks
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. melted shortening
- 2 c. cubed potatoes
- 1 c. boiling water
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. cream-style corn
Directions

1Cut fillets into inch-square chunks.

2Saute onions in melted shortening until soft before adding potatoes, water, salt, pepper and fish.

3Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

4Add milk and corn.

5Heat thoroughly and serve.
