  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3/4 pt. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 pt. flour
  • 1 c. rolled oats or wheat
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm milk.

    Add beaten eggs to mixture and also butter.

    Sift flour and salt and add oats.
  4. 4
    Add gradually to liquids.

    Spread batter in greased pans and brush with melted butter.

    Let rise in pan for 1 hour before baking. Bake at 375° until light brown in color.
