- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. quick rising dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Stir in sugar, salt and margarine.

3Add cold to lukewarm.

4Measure warm water into large bowl.

5Add yeast and stir until dissolved.

6Add lukewarm milk mixture, egg and 2 cups of flour; beat until smooth.

7Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough.

8Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, until doubled in bulk (about 15 to 20 minutes).

9Punch down and shape into rolls.
