  • 1/4 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 6 oz. butterscotch or chocolate chips
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped

    Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan.

    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, milk, egg and margarine.

    Stir in chips and nuts.

    Batter will be very thick.

    Spread in pan.

    Bake 20 to 30 minutes.

    Cool completely.

    Cut into 36 bars.
