Bavarian Casserole

Ingredients

  • bacon
  • 1 can sauerkraut, drained
  • pork chops (I prefer boneless)
  • potatoes
  • onions
  • 1 can tomato wedges

Directions

    Line bottom of baking dish with bacon.

    Drain sauerkraut and put over bacon.

    Lay pork chops over kraut.
  4. 4
    Peel and slice potatoes over pork chops.
  5. 5
    Slice onions and separate into rings. Put on potatoes.

    Pour can of tomatoes on top of casserole (do not drain).

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Bake at least 2 hours at 350°. (For first hour, you may want to cover with foil.)
