Bavarian Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 pkg. lime jello
  • 8 oz. carton cottage cheese
  • #2 can crushed pineapple, drained (2 1/2 c.)
  • 1/2 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans) chopped
  • 1/2 pt. whipped cream

Directions

    Dissolve marshmallows in hot water, add jello and cool until syrupy.

    When cool, whip until all large bubbles disappear, then add cottage cheese, pineapple and nuts.

    Whip cream, and fold in last.

    Refrigerate in bowl or mold form.
