- 1 lb bacon
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts
- 1 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- toothpick
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2Wrap each chestnut in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

3Place the wrapped chestnuts on a cookie sheet and bake for 35 minutes.

4Mix catsup and brown sugar.

5After getting the chestnuts out of the oven, carefully drain off grease.

6Dip each bacon-wrapped chestnut in the catsup mixture and coat well.

7Place back on cookie sheet and bake again for 35 minutes or until the catsup coating becomes rather sticky.
