- 1 (12-pound) turkey
- 1/2 cup chopped garlic
- Lemon, halved
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Directions

1Season turkey with chopped garlic and allow to stand, refrigerated, for 24 hours.

2Place lemon in the cavity of the turkey.

3Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

4Place turkey in a large roasting pan.

5Baste the turkey every 15 minutes with BBQ sauce.

6Be careful to cover turkey with foil to prevent burning.

7Turkey will make its own juice to keep it moist.

8Roast turkey for approximately 20 minutes per pound, approximately 4 hours.
