- 1 large carrot, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 c. meat stock (may use bouillon cubes)
- 3 to 4 c. cooked, dried beans
- 2 to 3 c. cut cabbage
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook carrot, celery and onion in stock until almost tender, about 12 minutes.

2Add beans and cabbage; cook 5 minutes longer. Season.
