Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz.) can luncheon meat
- 1 (21 oz.) can pork and beans (in tomato sauce)
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (1/4 c.)
- 1/4 c. maple flavored syrup
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
Directions

1Cut luncheon meat into 8 slices. Brush each slice with syrup, reserving remaining syrup.

2Arrange meat slices around edge of a 9-inch pie plate.

3In saucepan, combine beans, remaining syrup, onion, flour and mustard.

4Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

5Pour boiling bean mixture into pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° until meat is lightly browned, about 20 minutes.

6Makes 4 servings.
