  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 large onions, cut into rings
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans butter beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can green lima beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) can New England style baked beans

    Cook bacon until crisp.

    Crumble and set aside.

    Brown onion rings in bacon fat.

    Add brown sugar, salt, dry mustard, garlic salt and cider vinegar.

    Cook in skillet for 20 minutes uncovered. Drain lima, butter and kidney beans; put in casserole.

    Add baked beans undrained.

    Mix.

    Pour cooked mixture over the top. Sprinkle bacon on top.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°.
