- 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, beating just enough to make a smooth batter. Turn into a greased loaf pan and bake 45 to 50 minutes in a 375° preheated oven.

2When top browns and sides pull away from the pan, turn out and cool on a rack.
