Ingredients

  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix raisins and boiling water. Set aside.

    Beat eggs, oil, sugar and beans until beans are broken. Mix in remaining ingredients.

    Beat until well mixed. Fold in raisin mixture. Divide batter into 3 well-greased bread pans. Bake at 325° for 60 minutes. Can use 10 mini pans at 325° for 35 minutes.
