- canola oil
- 1 tablespoon corn meal
- 2 cups white pea beans cooked
- 1 cup brown rice cooked
- 1 cup sunflower seeds coarsely chopped
- chunky salsa cup prepared
- 1 green onion chopped
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375F (190C).

2Brush a cookie sheet with canola oil and dust with the cornmeal.

3Set aside.

4In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.

5Divide the mixture into six portions.

6On a piece of wax paper or foil, shape each portion into a round or oblong patty.

7Pick up wax paper and flip patty onto baking sheet.

8Repeat with remaining mixture.

9Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden.
