Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, separated into rings

Directions

    Drain all beans, except pork and beans and mix in large, long casserole dish.

    Rinse pork and beans can out with 1/2 cup water and add to casserole.

    Mix together the brown sugar, mustard and vinegar; mix thoroughly with beans.

    On top of mixture, put 1/2 pound raw bacon.

    Separate the onion into rings and place on top of bacon.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.

    Serve hot or cold!
