Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 tsp. margarine
  • 1 can fried beans
  • 1/2 c. taco sauce
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans chili-bean
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole corn, drained
  • 8 corn tortillas, torn up into pieces
  • grated cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In skillet, saute onions and celery in margarine until tender, but not brown.

    Brown about 10 minutes, then stir in chili beans, refried beans, corn and taco sauce. Place 1/2 of the tortillas in a 10-inch square baking dish; top with cheese.

    Bake covered until cheese is melted.

    Garnish with fresh whole chili peppers.
