Ingredients

  • c. cooked white beans or beans or your choice
  • 1 tsp. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp.
  • 2 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. oil

Directions

    Cook beans; press through food mill while still hot or beat by hand until smooth.

    Add all other ingredients and form into patties.

    Roll in bread crumbs or wheat germ.

    Fry in hot oil.

    If you prefer, oil a baking pan with vegetables oil and bake at 425° for 10 minutes or until brown, turning once.

    Serve hot and garnish as desired.
