Ingredients

  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • 1 small can English peas
  • 1 small can string beans
  • 1 small jar pimento slices
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds (4 1/2 oz.)
  • 1/8 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. dark vinegar
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Mix olives, English peas, string beans and pimentos; drain well.

    Add celery, onion and almonds.

    Mix together sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper; heat slightly to melt sugar.

    Pour over mixed vegetables and refrigerate overnight.

    Mix often.
