- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can yellow wax beans
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 small can butter beans
- 1 can chickpeas (or garbanzo beans)
- 1 small can English peas
- 1 or 2 c. diced celery
- 1 medium onion (sliced and separated into rings)
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- chopped pimentos
Directions

1Combine first three ingredients and boil ten minutes.

2Cool and add vinegar.

3Mix remaining ingredients and cover with vinegar mixture.

4Cover tightly and refrigerate.
