Ingredients
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 1 can cut green beans
- 1 can yellow wax beans
- 1 small red onion, sliced
Directions

1Heat first 6 ingredients and melt sugar.

2Open cans of beans and drain off juice.

3Put beans into large bowl or large jar. Add onions.

4Pour sugar/vinegar mixture over beans while mixture is still hot.

5Set aside to cool.

6Place in refrigerator.

7Stir occasionally.

8Marinate 4 hours or overnight.

9Drain juice and save for salad dressing.
-
10Serve beans drained.

11Unused beans can be returned to juice.

12Will keep for several days.
