Ingredients

  • 2 lb. cooked frijoles with juice (black beans are even better)
  • 6 pieces crumbled crisp bacon
  • 3 chopped onions, sauteed in bacon drippings
  • 2 (No. 303) cans tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 lb. grated Longhorn cheese
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 3 pieces chopped raw celery
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Put all ingredients in blender, except bacon and cheese. Remove from blender and heat with cheese. Serve topped with crumbled bacon. Serves 8.
