- 1 lb. beans (navy or Great Northern)
- 1 to 2 lb. sliced carrots
- 2 1/2 lb. diced potatoes
- 2 to 3 c. sliced celery
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 c. diced ham
Directions

1Rinse beans.

2Then in pot with 6 to 8 cups of water, bring to a boil, simmer 2 minutes, cover and let soak for 1 hour.

3Then return beans to a boil, add ham bone and simmer beans 1 hour until tender.

4Remove bone and remove ham from bone.

5Add ham and other ingredients to beans, cover and simmer until other vegetables are tender.
