- 1 1/2 lb. ham
- 2 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 lb. dried soup beans
- 2 tsp. chopped parsley
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Soak beans in water overnight.

2Cover ham with water and boil until tender.

3Skim fat from broth.

4Add beans, drained, then celery, onions, parsley and pepper.

5Simmer all together until ham is well cooked, the beans soft and the whole well blended.

6Serves 6.
