- 1 lb. cannellini beans
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- salt and freshly ground pepper
- 6 Tbsp. extra olive oil
- 3/4 c. fresh sage
Directions

1Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.

2Add the garlic and sage; saute.

3Add the tomatoes and simmer gently for 20 minutes.

4Add the beans, cover and cook over very low heat for 30 minutes.

5Season with salt and pepper. The finished dish should have the consistency of a soup.
