- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
- 2 c. chopped, cooked pork
- 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 1/2 c. tortilla chips, crushed
- 3/4 c. bottled barbecue sauce
- 2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (8 oz.) jar American cheese spread
Directions

1In saucepan cook onion and green pepper (use boiling water) for 5 minutes or until tender; drain.

2Combine cooked vegetable mixture, beans, corn, tortilla chips, barbecue sauce and chili powder.

3Turn 1/3 of meat mixture into ungreased 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.

4Spread 1/2 cup cheese spread over meat.

5Repeat layers, top with remaining meat mixture.

6Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.

7Bake covered at 375° for 1 1/4 hours.
