Ingredients

  • 1 lb Bacon, cut up
  • 2 lrg Onions, minced
  • 1 sm head cabbage, minced (4 c.)
  • 3 Tbsp. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 x -1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. Toasted sesame seeds

Directions

    Cook bacon in large skillet till not quite crisp.

    Reserve 2 Tablespoons bacon fat in pan.

    Drain and reserve bacon.

    Add in onions and cabbage to fat in pan.

    Stir-fry for 3 min.

    Add in bacon and cook for 1 minute more.

    Combine water, soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic pwdr, sugar, ginger, black pepper, crushed red pepper and sesame seeds.

    Pour over cabbage.

    Heat well.
