Beef Barley Soup

  • 1 pound Beef Stew Meat, Diced Small
  • 1-1/4 cup Carrot, Chopped
  • 1-1/4 cup Onion, Diced
  • 5 cups Water
  • 3/4 cups Celery, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Beef Bouillon Powder
  • 1/2 cups Pearl Barley
  • 2 cans Tomato Sauce (7.5 Oz Each)
  • 2 whole Bay Leaves

Directions

    Place all ingredients in a 5-quart slow cooker. Stir. Cover. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.

    You can add even more vegetables if you desire. Potatoes are great in this, too.

    Remove bay leaves before serving.
