- 1 1/2 lb. thin round steak
- 2 stalks celery, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1 tsp. capers, drained
- 1/2 tsp. each: pepper, thyme and olive oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 Tbsp. mustard
- 6 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes, crushed
Directions

1Pound steak, cut into 3 x 4-inch pieces.

2Combine ingredients, except mustard.

3Spread mustard on steak pieces, then add filling. Roll up and fasten with toothpicks.

4Brown in butter, then simmer with bouillon cubes and 2 cups water for 45 minutes.

5Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
