  • 2 1/2 c. red wine
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 lb. whole mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb. peeled pearl onion
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef stock
  • 1/4 c. flour
