  • 2 lb. cubed chuck
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 or 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. Burgundy wine
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced

Directions

    Cut meat in cubes.

    Brown meat and onions in oil.

    Stir in flour and seasonings.

    stir until slightly thickened. Add bouillon cubes and wine.

    Cover and simmer for about 2 hours.
