- 2 lb. cubed round or sirloin tips of beef
- 1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
- 1/4 c. Cream of Rice cereal
- 4 carrots, shredded
- 2 c. thin sliced onion
- 1 c. thin sliced celery
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. marjoram
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 2 c. Burgundy wine
- 2 cans mushrooms
Directions

1Place beef on rack in roasting pan.

2Put into unheated oven and heat oven to 500°.

3Roast beef for 5 minutes for each pound of weight (roast a 4 pound roast for 20 minutes).

4Turn off oven.

5Do not open door.

6Leave beef in oven for 2 hours.

7Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
