- 4 lb. chuck roast, cubed
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. condensed onion soup
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 c. Burgundy
- 6 oz. canned whole mushrooms
- 4 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Brown beef in oil.

3Place in 3-quart casserole and add soup, garlic and wine.

4Cover tightly.

5Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

6Add mushrooms last 15 minutes.

7Serve over rice.
