  • 4 lb. chuck roast, cubed
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. condensed onion soup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 c. Burgundy
  • 6 oz. canned whole mushrooms
  • 4 c. cooked rice

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Brown beef in oil.

    Place in 3-quart casserole and add soup, garlic and wine.

    Cover tightly.

    Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

    Add mushrooms last 15 minutes.

    Serve over rice.
