  • 1/2 head cabbage, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes or juice
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans red kidney beans
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • garlic, salt and pepper to taste
