  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 large bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 - 15 oz. can red kidney beans
  • 1 - 10.75 oz. can beef consomme
  • 1 - 14 oz. can stewed tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 head cabbage, coarsely cut
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onion.

    Transfer to large pot. Add remaining ingredients.

    Cook until cabbage is tender.
