  • 2 lb. beef round cubes, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 c. Burgundy wine
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
  • 8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms (more can be added, if preferred)
  • 1/4 c. dry seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 bay leaf

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a shallow covered casserole.

    Bake, covered, at 350° for 3 hours.

    Remove bay leaf.

    Serve over a bed of egg noodles or rice.
