- 3 1/2 to 4 lb. rump roast
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1/2 c. water (add more if you prefer)
- generous dash of pepper
- potatoes
- carrots
Directions

1Trim fat from roast; place in roasting pan.

2Bake at 350° for 1 hour (no lid!).

3Spoon off fat; add onion and cook for 30 minutes.

4Combine garlic powder, Italian seasoning, tomato soup and water; pour over meat.

5Cover and bake for 1 more hour.

6Add potatoes and carrots.

7Bake 1 more hour.
