- 4 lb. flank steak (fat removed)
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 tsp. garlic powder
- Pam
- 2 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 3 tsp. onion powder
- 4 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Cut meat in strips about 1/4-inch thick.

2Mix all the rest of the ingredients.

3Place meat in a glass dish and cover with marinade.

4Refrigerate overnight.

5Drain and dry on paper towels. Spray oven racks with Pam.

6Place meat on open oven racks at 150° to 200° and bake for 4 to 8 hours.

7Jerky will be brown and will crack when bent when jerky is done.

8(Jerky should not break when bent.)

9Store in airtight container or freeze.
