Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. lean round steak
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. teriyaki sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. liquid barbecue smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Place meat in freezer for 2 to 3 hours.

    Slice into 1/4 inch slices.

    Place all ingredients in a glass or plastic bowl.

    Add meat.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Drain meat and pat dry.

    Line cookie sheet with foil.

    Place meat on cooling racks on cookie sheets.

    Cook for 8 1/2 to 10 hours with door cracked open at 150° or warm.
