- 4 lb. round steak, frozen
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. seasoned salt
Directions

1Thaw meat just enough to cut it into very thin strips.

2Mix remaining ingredients to make a marinade. Soak the meat strips in the marinade in the refrigerator for 8 hours, stirring every hour. Drain the meat strips and place on trays in a food dehydrator. Dry until brittle. Meat will bend but not break when dry and should have no soft spots.

3It may be stored at room temperature for about 1 week; for longer storage, keep in refrigerator or freezer.
