- 2 lb. round steak, 1 inch thick
- 12 small onions, peeled
- 6 medium potatoes, parboiled, peeled and cut in half
- 2 green peppers, cut into 12 wedges
- 6 firm tomatoes, cut into thirds
- 3 carrots, cut into 12 strips

1Cut meat into 1-inch cubes and marinate in sauce 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

2Alternately lace the vegetables and meat cubes onto 18-inch skewers.

3Baste the shish kabobs with sauce and place on grill over glowing coals.

4Turn and baste frequently.

5Cook 20 minutes or until tender.

6Push off onto plates and serve hot.

7Pass the heated sauce.
