Beef 'N' Noodle Jackpot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • minced onion
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup (undiluted)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 4 oz. medium egg noodles (2 1/4 c.)
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1 c. grated American or Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown beef with onion; drain fat.

    Add soup, water and noodles; blend well.

    Cover and bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add salt and pepper and 1/2 cheese.

    Blend well.

    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.

    Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes or until heated through.
