- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans Italian stewed tomatoes
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
- 1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables, drained
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. uncooked medium egg noodles
Directions

1In a Dutch oven or soup kettle, brown beef and onion; drain. Add tomatoes, broth, vegetables and seasonings.

2Bring to a boil; add noodles.

3Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until the noodles are done.

4Yields 6 to 8 servings. Makes 2 quarts.
