Ingredients

  • 1 lb. meat (trim fat)
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. curry powder

Directions

    Clean the meat and cut into pieces.

    Boil with little salt and some of the chopped onions until tender.

    Fry the meat.

    Put a saucepan on medium heat with the vegetable oil when hot.

    Add flour and stir until lightly brown.

    Add the rest of the onions, green peppers and tomato sauce and mix well for 5 minutes.

    Add the meat stock and the meat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

    Serve with potatoes, rice or ripe plantains.
