- 1 boneless top round steak, cut 1-inch thick
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 3 medium sweet green peppers, seeded and cut into strips
- 3 medium size onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Cut meat into 1/4-inch slices.

2Toss with cornstarch in large bowl until coated.

3Saute beef a few slices at a time, in 1/4 cup of the oil in a wok until no pink remains, about 3 minutes. Remove meat as it cooks to a warm platter.

4Saute peppers, onions and garlic in remaining oil until tender, about 3 minutes.

5Return meat to wok.

6Stir in soy sauce and water.

7Continue cooking, stirring and scraping brown bits in wok, until sauce thickens.
