- 2 to 3 lb. beef stew meat or rump roast
- 2 to 3 cans beef broth or chicken
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Boil beef and beef broth until beef is done.

2Remove 1 cup of broth and beef.

3Mix flour, salt and eggs.

4Gradually stir in broth to mixture.

5Pour in enough broth to make consistency of pie dough.

6Roll out on a floured surface.

7Cut into 1 to 2-inch squares.

8Drop squares into the boiling beef broth.

9Stir after all are in.

10Reduce heat to a slow simmer.

11Let cook for 30 minutes.

12Add beef anytime to pot.

13Poppie is done when tender.
