Beef Pot Roast

- 4 to 5 lb. rump
- 2 small or 1 medium to large onion, sliced
- piece of suet or butter
Directions

1Place piece of suet or butter in a heavy roasting pan (with a domed lid, preferably a Dutch oven).

2Brown until bottom of pan is glazed.

3Remove suit and brown beef on all sides.

4Remove from pan and remove any grease on bottom of pan.

5Put beef back in, fat side down.

6Add sprinkle of vinegar and onions.
-
7Cook approximately 4 to 5 hours.

8Turn midway.
