- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) beef chuck pot roast
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. beef bouillon granules
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 2 onions
- potatoes, carrots, celery (amount desired)
Directions

1Peel and cut vegetables; place in crock-pot.

2Cut meat to fit pot.

3Combine other ingredients and pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and cook 10 to 12 hours on low; 5 to 6 hours on high.
