Beef Pot Roast(Good)

- 3 to 4 lb. boneless lean roast
- 1 pkg. dried onion soup mix
- 1 can mushroom soup
- salt and pepper to suit taste
Directions

1Wash and pat dry with paper towel.

2Line iron Dutch oven with heavy foil, doubled enough to wrap and seal around roast.

3Cover roast with onion soup mix, salt and pepper, rubbing seasoning into meat, cutting (slicing) into top of roast.

4Place on foil with 1/2 can of mushroom soup on foil, bottom of roast.

5Spread the other half over top of roast.

6Wrap and seal foil over roast.

7Place top on Dutch oven . Bake at 300° 1 hour for each pound of meat.

8Makes good roast and gravy all in one.

9Also a good way to roast chicken.
