  • 500 g beef rib
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • 100 ml sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 8 pieces spring onions (bawang merah)
  • 2 chilies
  • 1 bayleaf
  • 1 galangal
  • 2 lime leaves
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 200 ml water

    Seasoning paste: crush garlics, spring onions, chilies, and salt until mix well.

    Put olive oil and cook the seasoning paste until the color changes and fragrant.

    Add water and stir well.

    Put the other ingredients and cook for 3 minutes.

    After that, put in the beef rib and potatoes.

    Cook until the beef rib and potatoes are soft (check with fork or knife).
